Last week, Bloom Energy raised $270 million in its IPO and the company was valued at $1.60 billion. Bloom Energy’s shares closed at $25 on its first day of trading which represents a 67% increase compared to its original share price.

23andMe received $300 million from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to provide its human genome data that will be used to help GSK develop drugs.

Uber surpassed 10 billion rides on July 24th 2018.

Slack purchased Atlassian’s HipChat and Stride IP. In exchange, Atlassian will receive a minority stake in Slack.

WeWork China's valuation increased to $5 billion after the company received $500 million in a funding round led by Trustbridge Partners.
