Glen Anderson, CEO

As CEO and President, Glen oversees all strategic operations of the business, including its regulatory and legal, sales, marketing, and revenue departments. He leads Rainmaker’s global team of financial representatives and remains deeply involved in investor and client partnerships. Glen is co-founder of Rainmaker Securities, launching the company in 2010.

With nearly three decades of proven excellence, Glen is a seasoned institutional equities professional, holding roles at Oppenheimer & Co and Jeffries & Co, focusing on public companies in the mobile device, telecom infrastructure, enterprise networking and digital media sectors. Immediately prior to his career in investment banking, Glen worked in the venture capital industry in Europe and the hedge fund industry in Chicago.

Glen has additionally been a technology and organizational strategy consultant to organizations such as the New York Stock Exchange, Sprint Wireless and Comcast, as well as working as an engineer in the advanced computing business at IBM and in Motorola’s mobile devices business, supporting the design of revolutionary products such as the Motorola StarTAC and the Multiple Application Phone – the world’s first “smart-phone”.

Glen holds a B.S. Magna Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, an MBA with Honors with an emphasis on finance and entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, pursued international studies in finance at St. Gallen University in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Executive program. Glen holds Series 7, 63, 79, 86, 87 and 24 securities licenses.
